Keyboards

Computer keyboards are essential for almost any computer. The only exception might be a server after initial setup. Keyboards will come in two kinds – bluetooth or wired. Wired keyboards are typically more stable especially after a system restart. Bluetooth is obviously a little more flexible, and does not require a wire to the computer, and therefore no taking up a USB-C port. All keyboards must have a biometric fingerprint reader. While this will increase the cost of the keyboard, a good quality keyboard will cost more than $10 anyways. The disadvantage of a slightly higher cost will be offset by security.

Bluetooth keyboards must support bluetooth 5.0, and wired keyboards must support USB-C. There will be no PS/2 option, and even if there were – no NSC recommended computer will have PS/2. All ports are USB-C for connectivity with keyboards.
