In a world where the 3.5mm audio port is dying out, the speakers nowadays will simply make sense to be USB-C speakers. It is because of this standard that the 3.5mm audio port is not a requirement when it comes to ports that must be on computers. For all systems, there is no mention for 3.5mm connections, and this will assume that USB-C will be the option. All USB-C speakers must be as good if not better than 3.5mm speakers. If they require an external source of power, that must be USB-C since the speaker will be less than 240 watts.
